- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology. 1 year experience doing product strategy.
- Experience working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience partnering with clients on technical products (e.g., pitching solutions, consulting, project management, implementation, demonstrating products, or technical sales).
- Experience managing projects with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position and to lead operational initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both practitioner and executive-level contexts.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Work closely with product managers to influence the product roadmap and ensure effective commercialization and activation of new and existing ad formats globally.
- Collaborate and influence across GPS, business, product, and marketing executives to align and deliver on a core strategy and make it easier to harness the power of YouTube Creators.
- Understand retail customer and creator needs and the competitive landscape to influence product strategy and go-to-market plans.
- Work across product managers, regional business teams, gTech and marketing to drive alignment on priorities and lead execution of go-to-market strategy for key product launches.
- Synthesize feedback from regional teams, business teams and advertisers and incorporate that feedback into product development efforts and ability to translate product plans and strategy into a market facing narrative.
