Remote Sr Reconciliation Rep at ASH ($17/hour)

We're seeking a skilled Sr Reconciliation Representative to join our team at American Specialty Health Incorporated! As a remote worker, you will reconcile claims, including complex claims, for payment as per Explanation of Benefits from Health Plan Payors. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Responsibilities will include reconciling and resolving 2-step claims and payments, manually reconciling claims for payment from Health Plan Payors, making calls to Health Plans to check status of claims, and using Health Plan and TPA websites to check on claim status or reconcile claims. You will also be required to document comments in internal notes fields, review and respond to ASHCore logs, and meet department production and quality requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School diploma, 2-3 years of experience in claims processing, and excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with Managed Care, HMO, PPO health plan provisions and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are also preferred. As a remote worker, you will need a stable internet connection, a designated work area, and the ability to participate in online meetings.
