Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of security engineers in designing, developing, and implementing secure products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement security strategies and solutions to protect Disney's products and services
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security and integrity of Disney's systems and data
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve Disney's security posture

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on application security and cloud security
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and leading security engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, and access control
  • Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • CISSP, CEH, or other security certifications
  • Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning security solutions
