We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Consultant to join our team. As a Financial Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional financial planning advice to our clients, helping them achieve their immediate and long-term financial goals. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Counsels participants on their pension plans, tax-deferred annuities, and other available investment options to help clients retain and increase assets.
  • Edifies, recommends, and facilitates new product purchases, including retail mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529, and 403(b), bank products, life insurance, and others.
  • Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional customer service and execute transaction and service requests.
  • Utilizes knowledge of tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice based on clients' financial needs and objectives.
  • Communicates internally with cross-business partnerships to develop and implement the organization's products and services to support clients and company initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning and consulting.
  • A strong understanding of financial products, including retirement plans, annuities, and investment options.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
  • FINRA registrations, including Series 7 and Series 63.
  • A Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) from multiple issuers.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning and consulting.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • Experience working with institutional clients, including universities, research institutions, and non-profit organizations.
  • Knowledge of tax and investment strategies, including retirement planning and estate planning.
