Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate SharePoint sites from on-premises to SharePoint Online, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Upgrade SharePoint sites on-premises to newer versions, leveraging your expertise in SharePoint 2019, 2016, and 2013.
  • Provide Windows Admin support as required for SharePoint migration and configuration, utilizing your knowledge of Active Directory and Windows operating systems.
  • Assess and evaluate existing SharePoint solutions, technical architecture, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and architect SharePoint solutions that meet customer business needs, mapping common problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Develop and implement site taxonomy, hierarchy, security models, and site architectures that align with best practices.
  • Apply modern SharePoint framework (SPFx), Power Automate/Flow, PowerApps/Forms, Power BI, and Azure expertise to automate and upgrade complex business processes.
  • Perform daily administration tasks, such as adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues, utilizing your knowledge of ULS Logs, workflows, and other SharePoint-related troubleshooting techniques.
  • Provide guidance to developers working with .Net Framework, C#, .Net Core, MVC, Angular JS, and modern web site experiences.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience with SharePoint technologies as a developer and administrator.
  • At least two (2) years of experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows Admin and Active Directory.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration projects to SP Online and OneDrive.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint 2019 on-premises and migrating to 2019 from earlier versions.
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and integrating applications with SharePoint 2019/2016/2013 on-premises.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps and Power Automate) development.
  • Hands-on experience rearchitecting legacy SharePoint Web Parts and Custom Applications for modern SharePoint-hosted applications.
  • Software architecture and development (SDLC) experience with project management, implementation, and systems integration.
  • Functional knowledge of SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
