Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented entry-level technician to join our team of powersports enthusiasts. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of powersports vehicles. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATV's, side-by-sides, and watercraft
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose issues, providing accurate estimates and recommendations for repairs
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs, including brake systems, suspension, and engine repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • Knowledge of major powersports brands, including Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, and BRP Can-Am and BRP Sea-Doo
  • Experience working on ATV's, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and three-wheel units
  • A strong understanding of powersports vehicle technology and functionality
  • Own tools and equipment necessary for performing routine maintenance and repairs
  • A detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • A clean and neat appearance, with a professional demeanor
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Certification in one or more of the following: BRP Can-Am/Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Polaris
  • Experience with Lightspeed operating systems
  • Previous experience working in a powersports dealership or repair shop
  • A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
