Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports data across various ESPN platforms. You will work closely with our Data and Analytics team to identify and resolve data discrepancies, develop and implement data quality processes, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions. This is a full-time remote position that requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports data across various ESPN platforms

  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, working closely with the Data and Analytics team
  • Develop and implement data quality processes to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data management and analytics
  • Participate in data quality audits and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure data needs are met

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, or business)

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data management tools and software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in sports data management or a related field

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with data quality processes and data governance frameworks
  • Certification in data analysis or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Analyst, Certified Analytics Professional)
  • Fluency in Spanish or another language, with the ability to communicate effectively with bilingual stakeholders
  • Experience working with web-based data platforms and APIs
