As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products (DPEP) Florida Finance team, you will play a critical role in analyzing metrics and trends to understand business results, drive strategic decision-making, and enhance Visitor experiences.

About the Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be part of a high-energy finance team dedicated to driving business outcomes through rigorous and innovative analysis. The DPEP Florida Finance team supports a wide range of businesses, including Amusement Park Attractions, Hotel Operations, Live Entertainment, Food and Beverage, Imagineering, Merchandising, Technology, Marketing and Sales, Maintenance, Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, Store Operations, Special Events, and Consumer Products. Your work will have a direct impact on the Visitor experience, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business leaders and partners to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and collaborate with partners across the business to review financial results or make adjustments to the operation.
  • Support forecasting, planning, and short- and long-term business planning.
  • Complete ad-hoc analyses and create detailed reports for presentations and reporting packages to Senior Leadership.
  • Develop strong written and verbal communication skills to convey insights and analysis to partners at all levels, including VPs and Senior VPs.
  • Create business cases for new opportunities, such as new attractions, hotels, or events.
  • Feel a sense of pride and ownership when visiting a store or watching a new parade, knowing that your work is driving the Visitor experience.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in financial, strategic, or statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and financial modeling, with the ability to source, organize, and analyze large datasets.
  • The ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner, with a strong narrative storytelling style.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • A curious and analytical mindset, with a passion for problem-solving.
  • The ability to work in a team environment, both in-person and virtually, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform work responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • A leadership mindset, with a desire to drive results and push the team forward.
  • A self-starter mentality, with a passion for continually seeking opportunities to improve internal processes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products operations, business units, and product offerings.

Education and Training

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A Graduate degree in a quantitative field, an MBA, or a CPA (preferred).
