Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analysis Manager to join our Global Reporting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business success by collaborating with cross-functional finance teams to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages for a highly senior audience, including the board and executive leadership team. You will also be responsible for leading and improving our consolidated margin analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to complex problems and situations, leveraging external benchmarking, statistical tools, and scenario analysis to inform sound financial business decisions.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to colleagues to achieve business results, including mentoring junior members of the team and performing first-level review responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set targets and deadlines, develop plans, conduct analyses, measure results, and improve processes, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Present data and recommendations to senior management, identifying valuable opportunities for growth and improvement, and influencing decision-makers to drive business outcomes.
  • Drive and improve our consolidated margin analysis, identifying areas for efficiency and process improvement, and implementing changes to optimize business performance.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, planning, and business planning, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Material industry experience, preferably in the retail or food and beverage sector.
  • Proven experience in contributing to and leading cross-functional teams, with a strong ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data and recommendations to senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA or Master's in Finance.
  • Professional certification in finance or accounting, such as a CFA or CPA.
  • Experience with project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Excel, Financial Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) tools.
