Job Summary

As a Data Analyst in our Transportation Examination group, you'll be responsible for working with large, complex datasets to inform critical business decisions. You'll develop data visualizations to measure the impact of changes and unique business challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across various projects and systems. If you have exceptional SQL skills, experience with data visualization tools, and a passion for business operations, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex, and diverse datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions quickly
• Develop ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple sources and concentrate it in one table
• Create data visualizations to screen and measure the impact of changes and unique business challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product teams, to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across various projects and systems
• Influence scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate exercises made for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and anomaly recognition)
• Document your processes and share your knowledge with your colleagues, guiding them as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Exceptional SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity
• Creativity with a Client Experience focus to develop meaningful Scene Dashboards
• Business Operations familiarity, with the ability to understand and underlying driver a business issue
• Supply chain foundation, ideally with transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience with SQL and Scene
• Experience with e-commerce operations or package carrier operations
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Scene Prep, etc.
