Job Summary
As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our IT team, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining our web and cloud-based applications, ensuring that they're secure, scalable, and meet the highest standards of quality. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality, and collaborate with our stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and AWS
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver solutions that meet our stakeholders' needs
- Develop and maintain high-quality code that's secure, scalable, and meets the highest standards of quality
- Work closely with our QA team to ensure that our applications meet our quality standards and are thoroughly tested before deployment
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that our code is maintainable, efficient, and follows best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes
- Collaborate with our stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations
- Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to improve our applications and processes
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment
- Experience with a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with database design and development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Strong understanding of security principles and experience with security testing and vulnerability management
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, including natural language processing and computer vision
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including serverless computing and containerization
