Job Description:

As a Content Processing Specialist - Social Media Content Moderator, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and moderating content on various social media platforms to protect brands from harmful content and promote a positive community
  • Using our online platform to review and analyze content, and making timely decisions to remove or respond to negative brand sentiments
  • Maintaining constant communication with your shift manager to resolve any issues or questions
  • Rapidly identifying online communication, including plain text and memes, and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and lingo
  • Ensuring the safety of the online community and adherence to brand policies and guidelines
  • Working with various brands from different industries to detect, review, and monitor all kinds of content

Key Responsibilities:

Content Moderation:

  • Review and analyze content on social media platforms to identify and remove harmful or negative content
  • Make timely decisions to respond to or remove content that may be detrimental to a brand's reputation
  • Use your knowledge of brand policies and guidelines to effectively moderate content

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain constant communication with your shift manager and team members to resolve any issues or questions
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices for content moderation
  • Provide excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

Technical Requirements:

  • Use our online platform to monitor and moderate content
  • Have a personal PC/laptop with a working webcam and a stable internet connection
  • Be proficient in using various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Discord

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A personal PC/laptop with a working webcam and a stable internet connection
  • General knowledge and interest in various social media platforms
  • Experience in content moderation, customer service (non-voice), or social media/community management
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any form of experience in social media and marketing
  • Additional languages
  • Experience working in a remote environment
