Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Fleet Engineering Support, your key responsibilities will include:

• Staying Informed: Stay up-to-date on day-to-day airline operations, including field of responsibility, and assess daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.
• Investigating Issues: Investigate aircraft/component problems that may cause delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Providing Engineering Support: Provide Engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status.
• Responding to Requests: Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems.
• Developing Action Plans: Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions according to assessed priorities.
• Coordinating with Other Departments: Coordinate with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions.
• Preparing Engineering Documents: Prepare Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections or other maintenance actions which provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong emphasis on math and science.
• Data Entry Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data entry, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
