Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst, System Operations to join our team, responsible for handling both incoming and outgoing data for clients and vendor partners. This role involves collaborating with internal and external partners to address errors related to EDI discrepancies, payroll, and demographic imports. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all stages of EDI and payroll implementations, ensure timely delivery of payroll and carrier files, and perform audits to ensure the accuracy of data between our benefits administration system and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of EDI and payroll implementations, both for new implementations and changes to existing file feeds (discovery, build, test, production)
• Ensure timely delivery of payroll and carrier files
• Ensure timely processing of demographic files and verify that the benefit administration platform has been accurately updated
• Collaborate with clients or vendors to resolve demographic import issues
• Manage and resolve EDI file discrepancies promptly and efficiently
• Perform audits to ensure the accuracy of data between the benefits administration system and third-party vendors
• Coordinate with Client Services, EDI Engineers, and Configuration Analysts to analyze and fix client issues

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in handling large data sets; 1 year of experience with employee payroll or benefits data
• 2 years of experience working with EDI integrations, including 834 file formats
• 2 years of experience with benefits administration systems
• Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and collaborative proficiency
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Excel experience (Vlookup, etc.)
• Strong ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Specific EDI knowledge and understanding of carrier-specific rules and structures, including familiarity with 834 file structures

Compensation and Benefits
