Job Overview and Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our IT Operations team by providing expert services, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our critical infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing IT administration of all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, and accompanying preventive maintenance and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical climate hardware
• Supporting IT labs to align our customer application and engineering teams with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications
• Coordinating remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms
• Managing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment
• Developing data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure
• Supporting IT Operations campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring
• Recommending and implementing departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulations
• Managing project management of data center and remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
• Procuring IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure
• Project management experience with remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
• Capital budgeting and project management for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement
• Support for Corporate Real Estate projects that interface with remote communication room design/work as an IT Operations representative and on-site evaluation reporting
• Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management
• Selection of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
• Manages the design, implementation, and vendor support of the proper electrical power, A/C, fire suppression, security, floor support, and cabling programs for communication rooms
• Provides proactive and break-fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and data center equipment
• Functional sustainability of airport critical climate systems
• Develops Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems
• Remote coordination of airport critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities
• Reviews/Stores Support Records, ensuring discrepancies are remediated
• Provides remote Incident Management resolution to airport critical equipment
• Provides remote installation, configuration, and operational support
• Maintains strict adherence to change control activities
• Balances multiple priorities within established time constraints
• Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call work requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal data
• Embraces diverse individuals, thinking, and styles

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will give you an upper hand in this role:

• Four-year degree or 5 or more years of relevant experience
• IT project management experience with (at least 2 years) in a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment
