The Role

As a freelance medical reviewer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our medical content. You will assess and improve the medical accuracy of our articles, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and free from errors. Your expertise will help us provide the best possible information to our members, who are facing some of the most challenging health conditions.

Responsibilities

* Review and assess medical articles for accuracy, completeness, and clarity

• Identify and suggest improvements to medical content, including language and formatting
• Collaborate with our editorial team to ensure that all content meets our high standards
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments in your area of expertise

Requirements

* Physicians with an M.D. or D.O. and completed residency training

• Registered dietitians
• Psychologists
• Professionals with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in medical writing or editing

• Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts
• Strong understanding of health literacy and clear communication principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Experience with content management systems and digital tools
