Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our TechOps team in Poland. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the sustainment and upkeep of our center Kubernetes infrastructure stages organized by means of OpenShift, Farmer, and Tanzu to suitable guidelines and best practices in a rapid workplace. You will also be the technical lead for "Kubernetes as a Service" presenting for internal clients, helping the necessities for "On Demand K8s Cluster" On-prem cloud (OpenShift, Vmware Tanzu, and Farmer) with its various stages providing expert direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the sustainment and upkeep of our center Kubernetes infrastructure stages organized by means of OpenShift, Farmer, and Tanzu to suitable guidelines and best practices in a rapid workplace.
  • Be the technical lead for "Kubernetes as a Service" presenting for internal clients, helping the necessities for "On Demand K8s Cluster" On-prem cloud (OpenShift, Vmware Tanzu, and Farmer) with its various stages providing expert direction.
  • Implement GitOps rules to integrate the project-wide cluster provisioning/automation and day 2 life cycle management using Kubernetes native CI/CD instruments like ArgoCD, Jenkins.
  • Ensure the essential security policies are implemented and authorized across their work, Fix management.
  • Aid documentation of project requirements, statements of work, and service descriptions.
  • Guarantee reinforcement and recuperation for basic resources to incorporate Catastrophe Recuperation Plan.
  • Linux system administration on physical and virtual servers to include installation and maintaining the hardware, software, and applications.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues with any Kubernetes objects like deployments, pods, namespaces, replication controllers, daemon sets, schedulers, etc.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Industry knowledge and experience in cloud-native structures, services-based design, container-based solutions development, delivery, and operations.
  • Master working knowledge in Openshift, Vmware Tanzu K8s Matrix Services, Working knowledge on ACM, ACS, Tanzu application services, and Farmer with a solid foundation in VMWare virtualization, networking/SAN, security, containerization technologies, automation.
  • Proven experience with planning, creating, and delivering global-scale platforms for Programming-defined data center, container technologies in the business (Docker, containerd, mailman, Kubernetes, NSX-T, Calico, OVN, etc.), Argo/Argoevents, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with DevOps, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for container jobs using Jenkins or ArgoCD.
  • Programming/ scripting experience with Yaml, Python, Shell; configuration management/organization tools, Ansible automation stage/AWX.
  • Comprehension of System, Network, and Application monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with Entrance Regulators like NGINX/Haproxy software load-balancer, ALB entrance regulators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Redhat Openshift Certifications and Kubernetes certifications like CKA, CKD, or CKS.
  • Experience utilizing ServiceNow, Jira, Infoblox.
