Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Operations Lead to join our Same Day Delivery team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for leading, guiding, and shaping the future of our 24x7x365 Same Day Operations team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Operations Specialists to achieve exceptional customer service and operational performance.
  • Drive the accomplishment of team KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to the Operations Specialists team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
  • Act as an escalation point for issues and concerns within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Participate in reviews with the Operations Supervisor to identify areas for improvement and optimize service quality.
  • Prioritize and delegate work tasks among team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other functional units to ensure a smooth customer-related process flow.
  • Play an active role in the development, learning opportunities, and training of Customer Connection Subject Matter Experts.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the team, inspiring them to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in operations or customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Same Day business products and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and expectations in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Process-driven and oriented towards achieving positive and effective results.
  • Strong knowledge of operations cycles and systems.
  • Ability to take ownership and lead the Operations team.
  • Excellent communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent working style with great phone and email etiquette.
  • Business acumen and great knowledge of English (verbal and written).
  • Strong leadership characteristics and attributes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
  • Certifications or training in customer service, operations, or leadership.
