Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a part-time tutor, working 5-10 hours a week. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to instruct small groups of students in Reading and/or Math, either in a face-to-face school setting or virtually. You will be responsible for delivering designated instructional models and strategies, utilizing company-designed materials and educational strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading and/or Math to small groups of students in a face-to-face school setting or virtually
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students
• Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided by Catapult Learning
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with instructing students (K-8)
• Experience with both onsite classroom and virtual instruction preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting programs (Zoom, Teams, etc.) preferred
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards students, administration, parents, and other internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience working with at-risk youth or students who are struggling
• Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
• Experience with educational technology and software
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
