Job Summary
As a Jr. Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, visualizing reports, and providing insights to support the Pricing team and Strategic Marketing function team of the global Business Unit (BU) High. You will work closely with data scientists and pricing specialists to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies, manage data extraction and analysis, and create reports and dashboards to enhance analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, extract, and analyze data from sales/financial tools and other relevant sources to identify trends, growth opportunities, and measure the performance of specific activities or initiatives.
- Understand the product and market segmentation of the portfolio and build know-how of data ecosystems in various production units.
- Define, measure, visualize, and interpret key Sales KPIs (target achievement, price performance, order trend, pipeline development, etc.), profitability, as well as data quality KPIs.
- Collaborate with data scientists and pricing specialists to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies, opportunity trend analysis, and price wizard implementation.
- Develop and update reports and dashboards (in particular, but not limited to, Salesforce.com, SalesBI, PowerBI, etc.) as well as related user training to increase the analytical capabilities of our sales management around the globe.
- Support analytics of competence development activities and marketing demand generation.
- Continuously improve process performance and data quality.
- Drive implementation of pricing management systems across all production units.
- Document and follow guidelines for efficient business operations.
- Present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Assess data from different sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.
Essential Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Analytics or similar roles, including all aspects of data analytics (mining, generation, and visualization).
- Knowledge of the Power BI platform with hands-on experience in data visualization concepts, such as designing dashboards.
- Know-how to extract and model data from various data sources (SAP, SQL, etc.) with expertise in handling live connections of data from different systems.
- Strong skills required in: Excel, Power Pivot.
- Strong math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra), analytical mind, and business acumen.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Python skill is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in data visualization concepts, such as designing dashboards.
- Proven expertise in handling live connections of data with different systems.
