Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in drafting, including day, night, and weekend classes, as well as online and dual enrollment courses
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing industry-based certifications and expertise
• Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
• Support the institution's mission and vision, adhering to the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies
• Maintain currency in the teaching discipline, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic program managers to achieve program goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate's degree and/or work experience in the field of study (drafting or related field)
• Industry-based certifications in drafting, such as CAD, Revit, or other computer-related drafting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher education teaching experience
• Experience with online and dual enrollment courses
• Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology
• Experience working with diverse student populations
