Job Summary
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our team as a Fall Adjunct Faculty member in School Counseling. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching online courses, holding office hours, and assisting students as needed. This is a part-time, temporary appointment, assigned per semester and on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach up to nine (9) semester credit hours within the required discipline at the online site as dictated by student demand
- Hold office hours and assist students as needed
- Develop and deliver engaging online course content
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in departmental and university-wide meetings and events
Education and Experience
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Master's degree in Education or a related field
- At least three years of EC-12 teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level
- Previous online teaching experience at the collegiate level
