Job Summary
We're currently seeking an experienced online Chinese language teacher to work with one of our clients in Utah. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a motivated student who is eager to learn Chinese and improve their language skills. As an online Chinese language teacher, you'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching Chinese language and culture, and providing feedback and support to your student.
Key Responsibilities
* Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs and interests of your student
- Teach Chinese language and culture to students of all ages and levels
- Provide feedback and support to your student to help them improve their language skills
- Use technology to facilitate online learning, including video conferencing and online learning platforms
- Communicate regularly with your student and their parents to ensure that they are meeting their language goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in language instruction
Essential Qualifications
* Native speaker of Chinese or equivalent language proficiency
- Teaching degree or certification in language instruction
- Experience as an online trainer or language instructor
- Availability to tutor twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. (Utah time)
- Own computer and fast broadband connection
- Ability to commit to a 50-hour course (50 x 1-hour sessions)

* Experience teaching Chinese language and culture to children and adults
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and video conferencing software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual or multilingual (Chinese and English)
