As a Mail Carrier - Postal Service Professional, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary duties will include:- Selling stamps and other postal products
- Handling incoming mail requests in a timely manner to avoid delays in delivery
- Sorting and delivering mail to over 142 million delivery points in the U.S.
- Executing different clerical functions to support mail operations
- Ensuring compliance with regulations related to international mailing, including restrictions on hazardous materials, animals, and plant-based products
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (some exceptions may apply)
- Have a valid driver's license (if applicable)
