Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Manager, Global Events, Protective Services to lead our cross-functional teams in delivering comprehensive security support at high-profile events. As a key member of our security program, you'll be responsible for managing multiple projects, negotiating with vendors, and developing new plans and roadmaps to ensure the success of our events. Key Responsibilities

• Provide briefings and feedback to stakeholders and senior leadership on event security matters.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, influencing and negotiating with internal business partners to ensure successful event outcomes.
• Negotiate and manage contracted vendors and budgets to optimize event security and logistics.
• Develop new plans and roadmaps in collaboration with team members and stakeholders to drive event success.
• Build and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
• Communicate clearly and concisely through written and verbal means to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
• Navigate ambiguous and low-oversight roles, applying proactive behavior to problem-solving and risk management.
• Analyze key priorities, identify gaps, and create plans to close gaps in event security and logistics.
• Utilize tools and standards for managing event security, ensuring critical timelines are met in narrow timeframes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas and revitalize event programs.
• Think strategically in day-to-day operations to execute decisions and drive event success.
• Manage risks, incidents, and issues with confidence and assurance, ensuring the safety and security of event attendees.
• Ability to hire, develop, and lead a team of security professionals to support event management.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in event management, program management, or business development.
• Demonstrated ability to work with global teams and manage competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel required, sometimes with short and/or no-notice.
• Ability to manage 24/7 on-call availability and prioritize multiple requests.
• Excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and deadline management.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or master's degree in Business Management or a related field.
• One or more professional certifications, such as PMP, CMP, or other comparable certifications.
• Remarkable project management skills and strong technical, analytic, and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate ideas and influence stakeholders, with ease when dealing with senior management.
• Able to work in a diverse team and possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and adherent to compliance with timelines and deadlines.
• High ethical standards and proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $170,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
