As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our cloud services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Job Summary

As a Microsoft Entry Level Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our cloud operations and infrastructure team. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing technical support to our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our cloud services
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical procedures and processes
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and chat

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our cloud services, including but not limited to:

+ Server and network connectivity issues + Application and software errors + Data storage and backup issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical procedures and processes
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure the smooth operation of our datacenters and cloud services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration

Essential Qualifications

* Secondary School Recognition, GED, or equivalent

  • 3+ years of work experience in a regulatory or business support role in a technical services industry (e.g., high-availability assembly/fabricating/basic infrastructure conditions, such as datacenters, oil and gas processing plants, hospitals, pharmaceuticals)
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including shift work during non-standard business hours that may include night, evening, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, client, or government security screening requirements, including but not limited to:

+ Microsoft Cloud Personal investigation: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud individual verification upon hire/move and at regular intervals thereafter

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology, engineering)

  • Or Partner's Certificate or technical trade certification (e.g., military, trade school), or higher-identical education AND 3+ years of technical services experience (e.g., high-availability assembly/fabricating/basic infrastructure conditions, such as datacenters, oil and gas processing plants, hospitals, pharmaceuticals)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and infrastructure concepts
  • Experience with technical documentation and knowledge management tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
