About the Role

The Senior Data Architect will work closely with our utility teams, product owners, and Agile teams in technology to design, develop, and implement a robust data architecture that supports our VOC method. This will involve:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to outline, build, and capture business requirements
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of VOC methods and leveraging them to inform data architecture and transformation
• Designing and building robust data models to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
• Providing expert guidance on data architecture and analytics to drive business growth and efficiency
• Developing and implementing automation tools to improve data processing and reduce manual effort
• Working closely with our Agile teams to prioritize, define, and deliver data solutions that meet business needs

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing data architectures that support our VOC method
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of VOC methods and leveraging them to inform data architecture and transformation
• Collaborating with stakeholders to outline, build, and capture business requirements
• Developing and implementing automation tools to improve data processing and reduce manual effort
• Providing expert guidance on data architecture and analytics to drive business growth and efficiency
• Working closely with our Agile teams to prioritize, define, and deliver data solutions that meet business needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages
• Development, launch management, and troubleshooting experience for data-driven tasks
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders and Agile teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and efficiency through data-driven insights
• Experience with data architecture and analytics, including data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

• Experience with data transformation and innovation, including data architecture, data warehousing, and business intelligence
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Azure
• Experience with data governance and data quality, including data validation and data cleansing
• Experience with data visualization and reporting, including Tableau and Power BI
