Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions is seeking a Software Developer with an emphasis on ETL skills (Extract, Transform, Load).

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build SQL queries and develop applications to transform customer data into mailable products via automation and repeatable processes
• Transform client data to be used in generating print and email communications for our various clients
• Quality check work for all jobs, including jobs worked by others on the team.
• Prepare and process data through postal cleansing software

You Must Have:

• Experience in application development with Microsoft Visual Studio (preferably C#). This includes form and console applications, as well as integration with SQL Databases, XML, JSON, CSV
• Experience with MS-SQL to create queries, transform data, and create reports/dashboards
• Intellectual curiosity to figure how and why "stuff" works
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Experience with communication of IT concepts to technical and non-technical staff
• Capacity to effectively handle multiple technical roles in a complex environment
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes
• Experience with multi-tasking in a fast paced IT environment.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven workplace
• Can read and understand complex standard requirement artifacts, requirement matrices, and process maps

We Would Also Prefer:

• Knowledge of document composition tools (Quadient Inspire)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Knowledge of ETL tools and concepts
• Intermediate HTML development skills
• Simple web design for internal use
• Bachelor's degree in related area

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
