Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at Verisys, you will play a vital role in organizing and processing critical information, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. You will be responsible for efficiently inputting a variety of data, such as board orders, meeting minutes, press releases, and more, into our user interface. This is an entry-level, remote opportunity, requiring a high school diploma or GED equivalent, excellent computer skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing documents to identify relevant data to add into our FACIS database
• Conducting additional research as necessary about the source, including contacting the data authority for guidance on how to interpret documents
• Clear communication with management, peers, and stakeholders on processes and data acquisition/transformation
• Ability to clearly articulate data transformation processes
• Taking on additional periodical and/or ad-hoc projects/tasks when necessary
• Self-motivated to work day-to-day with limited oversight
• Using provided resources to answer questions before seeking assistance
• Meeting quality and efficiency benchmarks
• Completing items within the Data Entry queue

Required Skills and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A willingness and ability to take ownership and initiative on tasks and projects
• The ability to work as part of a team to provide on-time results
• The ability to learn quickly and adjust priorities throughout the day
• An uncompromising approach to meeting/exceeding pressing deadlines and expectations
• The ability to do work right the first time and inspect work for flaws
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products
• Strong critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail

Education and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in the healthcare industry, data entry, and comparison is a plus.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00.
