Job Summary

As a Full Stack Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and supporting our pharmacy operations. You'll be responsible for assisting pharmacists, managing pharmacy systems, and providing top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, under direct supervision.

• Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
• Develop strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including prescription information and inventory levels.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification or degree preferred.

• At least 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy systems and software, including electronic health records and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working with Walgreens or in a similar pharmacy environment.

• Strong math skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent.
• Experience with data entry and computer software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
