Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated E-Laker Online Facilitator to join our team at the Alternative Learning Center (ALC). As an E-Laker Online Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating online courses, monitoring student activity and attendance, providing feedback and support, and communicating with students, families, and mentors. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic online learning environment and make a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor course activity and attendance, and respond promptly to student inquiries and concerns
• Grade activities and provide feedback within 1-3 days, using a variety of assessment tools and strategies
• Provide one-on-one student meetings through proactive outreach, and offer ongoing progress updates to students, families, and mentors
• Intervene when students miss milestones, and provide targeted support to help them get back on track
• Respond to communications by the next school day, and maintain regular communication with students, families, and mentors
• Reach out to students at least once a week, and offer ongoing support and guidance

Essential Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 License
• Willingness and ability to obtain Cross-Curricular Delivery Permission Request (CCDP) variance license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in online learning platforms and technologies
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in online education or a similar field
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies
• Experience working with students in an alternative learning environment
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design and instructional strategies
