The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in assisting our members with their pharmacy benefit plans. You'll take inbound calls and answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions, providing solutions that simplify their healthcare experience. Your skills and knowledge will make a real impact on our customers, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service with empathy.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, answering questions and providing solutions to simplify their healthcare experience

  • Take inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize your knowledge of prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions to resolve customer issues
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 6 months of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience

  • Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year of experience working in a Call Center environment or Healthcare related field

  • 6 months of work from home experience
  • Healthcare certification (e.g. Med Assistant) a plus

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
