Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in Ecuador. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value relationships with new and existing sellers on our platform. Your primary focus will be on identifying product selection gaps, executing go-to-market strategies, and attracting key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify product selection gaps, seasonality, and global trends. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform.
  • Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
  • Seller Support and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor issues, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.

Primary Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Education**: A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience**: 1-3 years of sales experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, preferably in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or a related industry.
  • Results-Oriented**: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets through consultative and solutions-focused processes.
  • Product Knowledge**: Enjoy promoting new products or offerings into new markets.
  • Communication Skills**: Advanced communication and presentation skills, with a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs.
  • Commercial Acumen**: Remarkable commercial judgment, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills**: Advanced analytical skills and quantitative abilities, with a comfort level with complex financial data.
  • Leadership Skills**: Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with a demonstrated potential to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

  • E-commerce Experience**: 2+ years of experience in e-commerce is a plus.
  • Purchaser Electronics Experience**: 3+ years of experience in purchaser electronics is a plus.
  • Direct Sales Experience**: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
