About the Role
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a vital role in updating data within our Salesforce system. Your attention to detail, computer skills, and typing speed will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of our Sales team's data. This is a temporary position, estimated to last between 6-9 weeks, and we're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Update existing data in Salesforce to ensure accuracy and consistency - Verify data by comparing it to source records to maintain data integrity - Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure seamless data access and utilization - Maintain a high level of data confidentiality and adhere to company policies - Perform other related tasks as assigned by the management team
Requirements
- Ability to type 40+ WPM consistently, with a focus on accuracy and speed - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Basic understanding of databases and data management principles - Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency - Working knowledge of U.S. geography, including state and city names - Written and oral understanding of the English language, with excellent communication skills - Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed - High school degree or equivalent, with a focus on computer skills and data management
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry, Salesforce administration, or a related field - Familiarity with Salesforce.com and its features - Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools - Experience working in a remote or virtual environment - Certification in data entry, Salesforce administration, or a related field
