Experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist for Alternative Investments – Work from Home Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Refining exchange deal transactions in client accounts and identifying/ addressing discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer representatives
• Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions activity, and processing/reconciling dividend activity
• Conducting research of complex/escalated concerns and performing testing/validation of new technology augmentations and vendor adjustments
• Completing projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account
• Interacting with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
• Collaborating with TD Ameritrade Clearing in our daily relationships with fund companies, transfer brokers, converse organizations, and other outside business partners

Accountabilities

Your success as a Remote Data Entry Specialist will be measured by your ability to:

• Evaluate registration arrangements or transactions requests for Client/Advisor level exemptions
• Govern responsibilities, including adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
• Reconcile Field, Dividend, and Move Breaks across BOS and Fund Business
• Evaluate and interpret suitable tax programming and corrections of tax coding
• Handle complications, including internal/external system improvements or issues
• Identify and provide solutions to ruptures between TDA, the Fund, etc.
• Provide method or technology service options to Control
• Remediating transactions issues with the Fund or Opposite Company
• Answer service companion questions concerning Fund specific requirements/eligibility
• Supply action on Alternative Investment transactions to expedite the client request or remediate not in good order concerns
• Timely and accurate completion of customer exchanging and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

• Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly in alternative investments
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
• Familiarity with tax programming and corrections
• Experience with system improvements or issues
• Certification in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
