We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Continuing Legal Education Data Entry Clerk to join our team at the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA). As a key member of our Continuing Legal Education (CLE) department, you will play a crucial role in processing documents necessary for educational programs at the 2024 Connecticut Legal Conference (2024 CLC), the largest annual gathering of legal professionals in Connecticut. Key Responsibilities

  • Document Preparation and Coordination: Prepare and coordinate documents for each seminar at the 2024 CLC, including setup, staffing seminars, and breakdown of seminars.
  • Database Administration: Organize scanned documents from the 2024 CLC, including attendance records and post-seminar surveys, and input data into the database to properly attribute continuing legal education credits for seminar attendees.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Prepare thank you letters to speakers, organizers, moderators of seminars, and send via email along with survey results.
  • Event Support: Assist with setup, managing seminars, and breaking down seminars at the 2024 CLC.
  • Data Entry and Management: Update databases and perform data entry tasks as required.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or other Directors of the CBA.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in working with spreadsheets, document management, or other office organizational skills.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and various databases.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Database Proficiency: Proficiency working with databases and event production software is a plus.
  • Event Production Experience: Experience with event production, coordination, or management is desirable.
