Key Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing information about our programs and services through live chat channels
  • Assisting customers with any issues or problems they may encounter and finding appropriate solutions
  • Providing exceptional customer service by understanding and addressing customer needs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while engaging with customers
  • Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborating with other team members to resolve complex customer issues
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, services, and promotions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or online support role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple live chat conversations simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using live chat software and other customer support tools
  • Positive and friendly attitude with a strong customer-centric approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or online support role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple live chat conversations simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using live chat software and other customer support tools

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Knowledge of youth development programs and services
  • Familiarity with live chat software and other customer support tools
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
