Job Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our claims and application processing. Your primary responsibilities will include entering customer and account data from various sources into our database software, identifying and correcting errors, and maintaining a daily production log to track your progress. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

* Enter customer and account data from various sources into corresponding fields within blithequark's database software

  • Identify and correct errors using appropriate quality control methods, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Review data for discrepancies in information and obtain further information for incomplete documents, maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Notify applicable department leadership if the system is not accepting information, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain a daily production log to ensure all time and work is accurately documented, providing valuable insights into your productivity and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Required Skills

* Excellent alpha and number recognition skills, with the ability to accurately enter data into our database software

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, meeting or exceeding productivity targets
  • Ability to key 10,000 keystrokes per hour (equivalent to 45-50 wpm), demonstrating your typing speed and accuracy
  • Two years of experience in a full Data Entry capacity is preferred, but not required; we're open to training and developing the right candidate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and management
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a group, demonstrating your teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, taking initiative and ownership of your work
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift, ensuring that you're available to meet the demands of our business
  • Ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position for which you're applying, offering flexibility and adaptability

Required Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your basic education and training

  • Two years of experience in a full Data Entry capacity is preferred, but not required; we're open to training and developing the right candidate

  • Experience working in a claims or application processing environment, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges
