About the Role of an Academic Tutor and Mentor

We are seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our team as Academic Tutors and Mentors. As an Academic Tutor and Mentor, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with high school students, primarily in the areas of math and science, including AP level courses. Your role will be to provide holistic support to your students, not only in their academic pursuits but also in their personal growth and development. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring to high school students in math and science, including AP level courses
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
• Offer holistic support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience in one-on-one tutoring in math and science, including AP level courses
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Availability to tutor during weekdays (usually after 3 PM) and/or weekends
• Reliable internet access for video conferencing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College-level tutoring experience
• Willingness to train to tutor the SAT/ACT
• Experience working with students with learning differences
• Flexibility to work remotely and adapt to changing schedules
