Job Summary

As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data into our databases, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that our information is up-to-date and usable. You will work closely with our team to prioritize data entry tasks, perform research, and review data for errors or deficiencies. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Management: Perform input of customer and account data from source documents, in text-based and numerical information form.
  • Data Organization: Organize information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Research and Data Validation: Perform research for finding further information if needed, and review data for deficiencies or errors.
  • Data Correction and Quality Control: Correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Scanning and Printing: Perform scanning and printing of documents as required.
  • Information Access and Queries: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Data Security and Confidentiality: Ensure the adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security, and keep corporate information confidential.
  • Office Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper usage of office equipment and report any problems.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years' experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
  • Administrative Duties: Solid experience with administrative duties, as well as office equipment usage.
  • Software Skills: Good practical experience with MS Office and data management software.
  • Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Typing Skills: Accuracy, high typing speed, and close attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Education: High school diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Computer Training: Additional computer training or certification will be a bonus.
