What You'll Be Doing

As a Live Chat Support Agent at blithequark, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, responding to their queries, and providing timely and effective solutions to their problems. You'll work with a range of customers, from individuals to businesses, and will be responsible for:

  • Responding to live chat requests from customers, providing accurate and helpful information to resolve their queries
  • Utilizing a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and answers to quickly resolve common issues
  • Escalating complex issues to supervisors or other support teams as needed
  • Providing personalized support and solutions to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to live chat requests from customers in a timely and effective manner

  • Utilize a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and answers to quickly resolve common issues
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors or other support teams as needed
  • Provide personalized support and solutions to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business) preferred

  • 1+ year of customer-facing experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in using technology, including live chat software, CRM systems, and other tools and platforms
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of at least 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience

  • Knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and procedures
  • Familiarity with live chat software and other customer service tools and platforms
  • Experience working with diverse customer populations, including individuals with disabilities and other diverse groups
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
