Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Work From Home Nevada, you'll play a critical role in influencing generic utilization, therapy changes, and providing education to patients. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, while maintaining our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, and provide education
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications
- Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies
- Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers
- Proactively gain patient and order information, while maintaining a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements
- Provide customer education and routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist
- Maintain a secure workspace free from distractions, adhering to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
- 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
- Must reside in the state of Nevada
- Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting
- Knowledge of generic medications and therapy changes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
