As a remote customer service representative, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our clients to plan and book their dream vacations.

Responsibilities

As a Travel Agent with blithequark, your main goal will be to make every vacation stress-free and enjoyable for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching various destinations and needs of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.
  • Diagnosing the clients' specifications and suggesting suitable travel packages and/or services
  • Organizing travel from beginning to end
  • Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel material
  • Collecting deposits and managing client payments
  • Using promotional techniques and preparing promotional material to sell itineraries and tour packages
  • Handling unforeseen issues and determining eligibility for credits/refunds
  • Maintaining relationships with key persons
  • Keeping financial statements and documents
  • Asking for help and guidance when needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English; multilingualism is a plus
  • Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach
  • Well-versed in various areas of travel (Domestic, international, business, holidays, groups, individual, etc)
  • Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively
  • Demonstrate ability to handle crises
  • Must have a reliable internet connection, computer, or smartphone
  • Must be available to attend live and recorded trainings and meetings
  • Must be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and be willing to learn and adapt
  • Must be able to work independently, but be passionate about travel and love helping others create unforgettable experiences

Schedule

Our flexible schedule allows you to work 4-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. You will have the opportunity to work independently, but also be part of a team that is passionate about travel and customer service.
