Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our para-transit transportation program call center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, addressing customer inquiries, and registering customers. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phones (incoming and outgoing calls) in a timely and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments for our customers in a efficient and organized manner
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner
  • Registering customers in our system and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (4-hour shift)
  • Comprehensive 4-6 week training program, conducted at the office before starting the hybrid 50/50 position
  • Call center experience preferred, but not required
  • Customer service experience required (1 year minimum)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Reliable internet connection at home
  • Ability to work at the office if unable to connect at home for >30 minutes
  • Punctual and reliable, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Call center experience (1 year minimum)
  • Customer service experience in a transportation or healthcare setting
  • Experience working with customers with disabilities or special needs
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
