As a Research and Policy Fellow, you will play a crucial role in data analysis, impact assessment, and collaboration with government officials.

About the Project

The project aims to investigate the effects of providing schools with information on their internal efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Ganimian to clean datasets and run impact analyses using Stata. This is a unique opportunity to work on a research project with a focus on education policy and contribute to the development of evidence-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare datasets for analysis, ensuring data quality and accuracy
• Run impact analyses using Stata, and interpret results
• Participate in weekly check-in calls with Professor Ganimian to discuss project progress and challenges
• Liaise with government officials on issues regarding data sharing and access
• Contribute to the development of research reports and briefs
• Collaborate with the research team to identify areas for further investigation and potential research questions

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, education, statistics, or a related field)
• Experience with data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, or Python)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
