Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our remote team. As a data engineer at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for architecting, coding, and delivering software solutions that make us an integral part of our clients' digital lives. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy data-driven solutions to meet stringent financial regulatory expectations across multiple countries and technology systems
• Design and implement observability capabilities into solutions to enable the identification of root causes for failures in time-sensitive processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate data solutions that drive business growth and improvement
• Ensure scalability and performance of data systems, with a focus on SQL and data architecture
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data systems and solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall technical quality of the team

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in developing and deploying data-driven solutions, with a focus on relational database programs
• Proven ability to develop powerful test instances that can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability capabilities and root cause analysis
• Strong understanding of SQL and data architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or similar
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
