Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and applications that drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality, scalability, and reliability of our data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and applications that drive business insights and decision-making

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of our data engineering solutions
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
  • Design and implement data integration and ETL processes
  • Develop and maintain data visualization and reporting tools
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data-driven models and algorithms
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies and procedures
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in software engineering, data science, and cloud computing
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
  • Experience with data governance and security policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases)
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Experience with data governance and security policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
