Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from customers, providing accurate and efficient information about the program
  • Document details of conversations, ensuring accurate records and efficient issue resolution
  • Utilize online reference materials, scripts, and other resources to guide conversations and provide confident support
  • Effectively use technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet
  • Meet department quality assurance standards and metrics, ensuring exceptional performance
  • Educate and answer questions from customers, providing up-to-date information about the program
  • Follow protocol and apply sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Maintain a sufficient, reliable private internet connection, not supplied by cellular data, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Must-Have Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Healthcare-related certification (e.g., CNA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative (1-2 years)
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems
  • Strong internet connection due to the remote nature of this role
  • Ability to pass a language knowledge assessment
  • Pass a detailed background check, as this role supports a government client

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish (or other languages)
