Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, leveraging tools and strategies to optimize provider networks
• Collaborate with senior leadership across Blithequark to develop sourcing strategies that support business objectives
• Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on new methods and best practices in sourcing and contract management
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with provider agreements and programs
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of technology philosophies and concepts, including SAAS, Agile development, DevOps, and more
• Develop, monitor, and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards
• Foster expertise in advanced procurement strategies, including strategic sourcing, conditional efficiencies, global sourcing, and more
• Exhibit the highest level of ethics and integrity in all transactions
• May perform other job duties as directed by supervisor

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, technology, supply chain management)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, contract management, or a related field
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, MS)
• Certifications in sourcing, contract management, or a related field (e.g., CPSM, CSCM)
• Experience working in the aviation or technology industries
• Proficiency in procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

• Knowledge of the technology market, providers, and industry trends
• Highly skilled in analyzing the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to select the most appropriate one
• Talented in working with Legal, Insurance, Tax, and other relevant departments to ensure that their requirements are captured in policies
• Ability to develop and execute team goals, direct team-building activities, mentor and coach others, and provide timely and effective feedback on performance and career direction
• Ability to provide input to and assist with budget development and ensure effective utilization of financial resources
• Ability to provide guidance and direction around daily activities related to strategic sourcing, contract drafting, negotiation, and procurement
