About the Role

As an Entry Level Event Assistant with Workwarp, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing in-person fundraising campaigns that expand our client's outreach and drive donor engagement. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships and educating community members through presentations to support our charity partner's fundraising efforts. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while gaining valuable experience and skills in event management, fundraising, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute in-person fundraising campaigns to expand our client's outreach and drive donor engagement
  • Cultivate relationships and educate community members through presentations to support our charity partner's fundraising efforts
  • Ensure adherence to client guidelines when accepting donations and maintain accurate records for each contribution
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss and contribute ideas to achieve our collective goals
  • Receive ongoing training and development from our leadership and management teams to foster your growth within our organization
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm innovative ideas and strategies to enhance our fundraising efforts

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree or certification in Business, Marketing, or a similar field (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience working in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or other people-facing positions
  • A genuine passion for helping others and working effectively in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with community members and collaborate effectively within the team
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event management, fundraising, or a related field
